Salma Hayek and Jake Gyllenhaal join 1000 Inuit elders and children on sea ice in sub-zero temperatures to send arctic warning about climate change. The event took place off Baffin Island as part of Arctic Wisdom, a scientific and cultural briefing on global warming.

On April 21 & 22, 2005, Spectral Q Productions, at the request of the Inuit Circumpolar Conference, presented Arctic Wisdom, a special two-day briefing on the scientific, cultural, and political issues related to climate change in the arctic.

This event, punctuated by a dramatic human aerial art image on the disappearing arctic sea ice, called the world’s attention to the devastating impact of global warming on the very existence of the Inuit people all around the Arctic Circle.
